A product purposed of an installation project held at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. Recomposed as completed film work in 2009.
It originally was theme for "Complete Chaos" visualized bydouble exposure method, however it appeared entire opposite phenomenon as "Birth of Cosmos", and that is unparalleled miraculous story behind the film.

This film visually demonstrates the fact that human has ability to change Chaos to Cosmos.
A transcend Free Jazz sound is presented by band Osorezan commanded of Jim O'Rourke.
Now images and sound break the wall of the universe and plunge in the new world.

 
Makino Takashi
Born in Tokyo in 1978. He graduated from Nihon University Department of Art. He majored in film and shot many of 8mm films while in the University.
 

His first 16mm film “AMARGASM”, which was inspired by Hans Bellmer's “IMAGE ANATOMY” received a jury prize at Nagaoka Independent film festival in 2001. The film was also screened at Image Forum.

The same year, Takashi visits London and was taught about film expression by Brothers Quay. At the Quay’s studio, he deeply learned about lighting and film music.

He has been eagerly making independent films after returning home from London, and his film pieces have been exhibited at livespaces and galleries since 2004.
The screening his film regularly in Shibuya UPLINK FACTORY from August, 2006.
In October, he screened new film "No is E"(music by Jim O'Rourke).

He is a filmmaker whose works are closely relates to art and music.

"No is E" won Terayama Shuji prize in Image Forum Festival 2007.
"Elements of Nothing" was nominated to Tiger award of International Film Festival Rotterdam 2008.
"The Seasons" was nominated Sound award of International Short Film Festival Hamburg 2009.
"still in cosmos" received prize Grand-Prix of 25FPS International
Experimental Film & Video Festival 2009.
